i've never lived in a flat before.

i can leave the window open and go to work because it's too high (3 floors) for criminal types to scale!

and there's a gated garden where people sit of the weekend and barbeque, or where live action roleplayers shout about hunting orcs!

there are a million local cats!

it has a lounge (my first lounge in london)!

i have flatmates who sit up til 6am on a saturday drunkenly playing idlewild & sebadoh songs on guitar and singing along! (it's been a while since i've had flatmates to do this with)

there's an old fireplace in my room! and tv aerials!

people in the building have actually said hello!

24 hour bus stop, free cash point and newsagents within 50m!

i'm so pleased with it it verges on smug.
