Public Transport vs Stress
Does anyone else get really stressed when public transport go wrong?
I had the pleasure of getting the coach back to Nottingham yesterday- I was stuck at the coach station waiting for the coach to arrive- after a bit of asking around found out the coach had broken down.
When it finally arrived the driver had to take a 45 min break before it could leave again. Throughout this there was no communication from the staff- if I'd have known it was going to be 90 mins late I would have done something better with my time. Apparently the station staff didn't want to tell anyone what was going on in case they misrepresented another company. Pft- wouldn't have been too much to update the departure boards if anything. Clowns. In all I didn't lose that much time, but it was more the frustration at not being able to change the situation which gave me the rage.
What's your worst tale of public transport woe?
