The first time they have ever had a cross-dresser on there?
Eddie Izzard was once on Question Time. Weirder still...I was wearing the exact same red gloves when I met him as well.
What is my fixation with trannies and that pair of red gloves?
grayson perry knows he looks well mental, he does it freak people out
an absolutely vile article in one of the tabloids.
'It was like a seated Rocky Horror show'.
'Does the BBC really see a place for such farcical behaviour?'
'Is it fancy dress night? Grayson Perry? More like Larry Grayson!'
'Unbelievable! BBC... your credibility has gone down the pan'.
'I refuse to be made a fool of'.
WHY DOES THE EXPRESS GIVE AIRTIME TO THESE MORAL-MAJORITY MIDDLE-ENGLAND SMUG BASTARDS?!!!!!!!
I really don't like taking the liberal-left moral high ground, but I also really don't like it that most people would still prefer that we lived in 1950s Switzerland. Grayson Perry's tastes may be unconventional but he is STILL a Turner Prize-winning artist who deserves to be listened to.
Why does the media pander to the kind of ignorant fuckwits who, not having heard of this talented man (which is no disgrace in itself), refuse to see beyond his appearance?
It is terrible and it shouldn't be condoned.
because its the Express? Because the majority of their readership are closed minded pricks? Because the majority of England are closed minded pricks, so the market is always going to be there?
and nor do I want to be a 'smug bastard' for thinking that they're all 'smug bastards'...
I guess that my main worry is that people in England are constantly trying to out-smug-bastard one another and that this is a colossal waste of our energies.
Perhaps we should just focus on being nice.
but he wasn't all that great really
now that deserved complaints
