Just wondering if other people consider themselves to be lucky in general, just after something happenbed recently that made me think I'm really not the luckiest person.

A very good friend of mine who I went to college with went away travelling earlier this year, which is lucky in itself because he got the money to do that from his girlfriend's gran. Anyway, he came back about 2 weeks ago and started looking for sound engineering jobs.

I told him he shouldnt get his hopes up because he was just emailing every studio he could get an address for, something I've done many times and never had any success with.

Well, the other day he got an interview for a studio in glasgow and got the job. Jammy bastard.

While I'm really happy for him, it makes me wonder what I've done to not be so lucky.

So, yeah. Do you believe in luck? Do you have good/bad luck? Or do you think that you make your own chances in life?
