i still haven't seen Spiderman 3. the unending slagging of it makes me want to though.
I borrowed it off my old boss. Oh dear, frankly.
dresses up as Conor Oberst and struts down the street giving any passing women two thumbs up.
So bad it's goo... no it's just bad.
and it might be at least watchable.
Spiderman 2 = Whatevs
Spiderman 3 = Unnecessary
Spiderman 4 = Booo!!!
Amusingly the Captain America movie is scheduled for the same month...
where he went all emo? was it 3? i fancied him before that, quite a lot
so in other words, i didn't enjoy that one that much. how do you think this one will be, just more of the same? i suppose it would be unreasonable to hope for anything else
it's hard to imagine how it will be...
I'm thinking that Sony are forced to announce a new SM or they'll lose the rights...
it's probably a symptom of the fact that Hollywood's fast running out of ideas for films to make - which along with them being unwilling to take risks is why we're getting so many sequels/remakes/rehashes of things these days.
The second one was poor to be honest.
It's pretty pretty pretty good.
better than the first one.
better than the first
of the whole Franchise so far. Doc Ock is a good villain and Alfred Molina is a great actor to play him. It also wasn't bogged down with the origin story which for anyone who knows anything about Spiderman is pretty boring. They also had Dr Curt Connors in it who in the comic becomes The Lizard which would have been a better character to set up for Spider-Man 3 instead of the non-villain that Venom become and the frankly soppy Sandman. And the less said about PP's emo sequence the better.
He exposes a fake photgraph, persues an escaped convict and kisses someone else infront of the girl who dumped him.
What an evil, evil man!! :)
he's got BLACK EMO HAIR, if that's not badass I don't know what is!!!!
Isn't he a good scientist who becomes a villain accidentally as a result of his work?
That's what I'd heard. My only real complaint with Doc Ock is his story arc seems almost identical to Norman Osbourne's and to have a third film with the same route to a villain would have been annoying. At least both Sandman and Venom come via different routes.
the lizard and Dc Connors are basically different entities.
To cure himself ( and many amputees ) he tried on himself a serum based on reptilians morphology and transformed into the lizard.
More like a Jekyll/Hyde situation.
Possibly a very good character but visually not as interesting as Sandman or Venom, which might explain why he wasn't chosen for the thrid movie.
They both are good men turned into bad by their own meddling in science.
they actually enjoy their "bad side".
Dc Connors is always fighting it !
dismays me more than another irrelevant sequel to an irrelevant superhero movie
i say reboot, new cast, director, costume etc. reboot reboot reboot.
why did you watch Spider-Man 3 if you hated Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2?
but hey, don't write off Spider-Man 4, it might be really really great!!!
To those of us who know how the board works you were clearly agreeing with 'Wilma'.
is that it's basically 2 films at once. The film Sam Raimi wanted to make was good but they also stitched it in with the film the studio wanted to make, which wasn't so good Al.
There's some great moments though, the bit where Harry's the Goblin and they have a chase/fight is amazing.
On the other hand, the dancing scenes are properly rubbish.
I'll keep an open mind about 4.
Raimi didnt want to do Venom, studio and fanboys did, so he just had to fit it in which was a massive mistake. No need for that many villians.
Still think Topher Grace would have made a better Spider-Man. I definatley don't want Seth from the OC to be the new PP
Spiderman 1 - Average at best
Spiderman 2 - Truly awful
Spiderman 3 - Haven't seen but my brother walked out.
Spiderman 4 - Who gives a fuck!
just don't do it again
