Is this acceptable? As a non-gamer, and someone who would definitely appreciate this kind of spiteful ruthlessness if it were depicted as part of a long running HBO drama serial, I think it is.

As a gamer who's just lost about a year of effort with no way to get it back and no-one to blame/injure, I... probably wouldn't.

Any thoughts?
