hey all...

i was wondering if any guitarist out there could give me some advice? I'm about to get a Fender Blues Junior amp and need a distortion pedal to compliment it a bit...

Basically, the sound i'm looking for is that fender tube-amp overdrive - that you'd get out of like a Hot Rod deluxe. So i'm kinda looking at something to compliment that as the blues junior only has a clean channel...

any advice? I was looking into ProCo Rats but i've heard bad things about the Rat II..

oh yeah, I play a fender telecaster, and the kind of sound i'm looking for is a bit like this ; myspace.com/thesleepwells. although our other guitarist plays a jazzmaster and thats whats on the recordings. Obviously the tele is going to sound different but its that type of warm tone i'm looking for
