This seems insane to me, but then when I think about it maybe it can be done acceptably.
I wouldn't dare try anything other than that!
with hilarious consequences!!!!!!!!!!!
but my girlfriend cuts my hair, she has no hairdressing experience. it goes well
is a bit skanky, innit?
my friend used to cut hers. it was very straight tho, so pretty easy
for the past two years. it is passable.
is passable. i didn't just misspell possible.
it was fucking regrettable nightmare. I got reminded of it daily by one annoying kid at school for about 5 years. On the plus side it created the acronym FDU meaning Forehead Display Unit.
and for about two years after as it had become a habit.
When I had shorter hair it was not too difficult, just clippers, scissors and some patience, but I also did it when I had hair that was long enough that the fringe was about down to my top lip. It was fairly tedious, but I'd basically have three attempts at it over consecutive days - the first day was where the action was and could take anything up to an hour, but by the last day it was just a five minute finishing job. But doing it that way actually worked really well.
But not being as cripplingly poor, or with as much time on my hands as those days, I wouldn't dream of doing it myself anymore
for like, three years.
and then i started going back to the hairdressers which i've done religiously every six weeks for the last couple of years except now i can't afford to spend such a ridiculous amount so i've resorted to just letting it grow into some sort of mophead kind of thing, and cutting my own fringe and, well, it looks bloody awful.
normal scissors, bathroom mirror, after a few drinks usually.
and model myslef on morissey, its so easy. clippers up the back, clippers up the sides, bit of handy trimming here and there to even it out, and bingo
but it still looks awesome
cut all my hair to different lengths.
I used to try to cut it really short on my temples with them....on several occassions i had to go to a freind (who did cut peoples hair) for damage limitation
The combination of me having amazingly brilliant hair and me not being able to do anything remotely practical would end in tears.
at the moment just my fringe (I'm growing my hair) but I've cut it all, done layers before too
cut of about 15 inches during the last few months. i didn't plan to really, it did get a bit out of hand so to speak, but i've actually gotten compliments for it so it's not too bad i s'pose
of cutting my own hair. It'd be useful to know how to do it though, as mine grows so bloody fast.
I cut in my fringe, too. it worked well... cheaper and better than the hairdressers, who always do my fringe wayyy too heavy, straighten my wavy hair WHICH I HATE and cut layers into my hair WITHOUT ME ASKING
i've done it 3 times and it went wrong on all occasions
Not all the time, but I normally do. I will this weekend I think.
