what is it?
probably something from One Foot In The Grave
where Victor traps the old lady in the loft and finds the frozen cat.
the episode where they invite the neighbours over for dinner but someone who passed out in Victor's conjuring group is there
punctuated at various points by the fire brigade storming in to wherever Victor is
i do like that one though, too
that one is good too. So many I've probably forgotten about!
Which one has the puppy/phone conundrum in? Or the one with Victor's creepy mannequin?
"keep the kitty on ice."
I've decided. You're name is on zeee list.
solid fucking gold. monk goes mental
It was pretty funny.
either the 1st or 3rd one
...or the last episode of The Sopranos just for the final scene alone.
Six Feet Under.
Or The Contest in Seinfeld
Lord of the Manor!
Queen of the Castle!
Duke of the County!
Master of My Domain!
I'm a sci-fi geek so will go for the pilot episode of Firefly.
could be that camden one of Spaced though...
1st episode of 24 series 5
a particularly good episode of 24 series 1
a particularly good episode of Lost series 2
the best Spaced series 1/Arrested Development series 2/Curb Your Enthusiasm episode series 3, whose names i cannot remember
is either when they find out (SPOILER ALERT FROM SERIES 1!) nina is a mole, or when they release that gas in CTU and edgar dies :(
is great aswell
when Mason takes his 1 way ticket is absolutely amazing as well.
Maybe the Motherboy XXX episode?
my favourite is on the 3rd disc i think...
favourite Spaced could be 1 of a few
Curb is consistently amazing, but 1 or 2 stand out each season
in the second series, with the slow-mo guns
Or ZE GERMANsI MENTIONED THE WAR ONCE BUT I THINK I GOT AWAY WITH IT.
also the episode with the mum under the bed, i tihnk it was the mum anyway.
I believe it was called.
or the one with the liberation of the camp, I can't decide.
Crossroads for me though.
it's all about Winters.
"His house looked like shit!"
probably the funniest episode of the series.
I also love "Long Term Parking" in Season 5 ***SPOILER*** where Adriana is killed. Talk about a heart breaker!
after my six feet under choice.
have to be in the discussion? I can think of loads but the one with Maggie doing here great escape from daycare is magnificent. Maybe the Hank Scorpio one too.
'cape feare' where sideshow bob tries to kill bart.
the rakes, no? Classic
Die Bart Die
no-one who speaks German could be an evil man.
that episode is so good
OR the most recent episode, revelations. gave me goosebumps. brr.
revelations was goooooooood.
Sol Tigh: true hero.
best voice ever. what a man.
after that thing happens at the end of season three.
Actually, though, who's got the better voice; him or the old man?
i think adama wins, because of his massively grizzled face.
But then.. Tigh's patch..
and adama cries like a little girl. tigh wins. everyone else loses.
...should be black though
People who haven't seen the new BSG series shouldn't read this, aye? I'm trying to be vague, failing.
Don't forget him shouting at Lee in the a**l**k. He has gone proper badass since That Thing happened. In fact, more generally I love how each of them has reacted in wildly different ways. Did you see T*r**l's crazy grinning face at the very end of that episode?
tigh = awesome
lee = pussy
that panning shot at the end of the ep was chilling.
aaaalso, I cannot wait until tyrol finds out that tori was the one who blanked blanky.
I've ever seen. The blanked blanky bit, I mean. I was actually pleading with the screen for that not to happen.
T**y's reaction since That Thing has baffled me the most. Don't recall T*****l's crazy grin. was that towards the end of revelations?
during the slow panning shot. Everyone else is aghast; T****l looks like someone's just told him the best dirty joke ever.
T**y is great ever since The Thing, I think. It's like it's everything she's ever wanted has come true.
slow panning shots get fucked on my laptop.
We've got a long wait til the next set of episodes, or so I'm told. grrr.
how massively annoying.
The point the writers went "You know what, I don't think many people are taking this show seriously anyhow, so why don't we just..."
Cue complete internet hysteria for a couple of weeks.
with the perfectly square bit of dirt on the window :D
where mrs doyle tries to work out that mans name.
And they get lost in the lingerie section of a department store..
is the one i remember most
if only for the fact it's 10000000 times better than Speed or Speed 2, and the last line of the episode:
"Those women were in the nip!"
- German Tourists
- Health inspectors and basil the rat.
Fawlty towers episode.
Or the curb episode i watched today <3333333
that's from my favourite episode
the first time i saw that part i had to pause the dvd and rewind i laughed for so long
insanely funny :D
within which Leon Black is most prominent.
Maybe just him going round saying 'what the fuck' in any episode
to feature all the zazz.
where jared leto plays angela a song that she thinks is about her, but it turns out it's just about his car.
this is ace.
For comedy, I'd say Blackadder the Second - the Beer episode in particular is tremendously funny.
Also I genuinely reckon the 'Blink' Doctor Who episode from last series was incredibly good and will become known as a TV classic.
However, my vote goes for the dictionary episode. Sublime.
where David get's kidnapped, forced to do loads of crack, beaten and doused in petrol.
Fucking hell. Highly recommended.
of Eastenders was pretty good.
of Band Of Brothers where they discover the concentration camps for the first time. Absolutely incredible stuff.
episode of The Simpsons
of Blackadder Goes Forth
but I can put together a good arguement for the Gay musical episode of the IT crowd which I know most of you would chastise me for!
Not me. I was actually crying when Moss turns up behind the bar. Hideously underrated.
this completely. I haven't laughed so much in ages
the best ending of any TV series ever. Just perfect.
done from xanders point of view
where he interrogates one in a moving car and the zombie's head hits a mailbox and flies off? that episode is amazing!
Twin Peaks - The Pilot episode
Father Ted - the one with the King of the Sheep contest (because I watched it last night and laughed all the way through like a lunatic).
where the replacement host for Roy Walker fell down the stairs and then had to wear a plaster cast on his leg?
Father Ted one with the explicit film - 'down with this sort of thing'
Torchwood where the people got pulled the other way through the vortex and got all fucked up
The OC in Tijuana maybe
where the floor is falling away, and the advisors tell the dungeoneer to 'side step to your left' and he falls down a hole that's just been made. Classic. Also, the one where someone says "Give him the horn, Gideon!" Or something.
I loved it when people fell down holes in Knightmare
Since no-one's mentioned this show yet: Shane and Lem working out some issues in the last ep of season five of The Shield.
I'm at the bit where Lem's been arrested and Vic's trying to find 100 grand to bail him out.
I'm glad I didn't blow what happened then. Enjoy that shit.
The one with the Enterprise C.
Aside from that I'd say the penultimate episode of The Wire S3
To post the Dante's Fire episode too.
Although I think my TNG favourite is the metaphor language people: "Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra."
You only move twice.
or Futurama with the space honey
completely gives away the plot of that Futurama episode when it's on and you check 'programme info'
Great episode though.
Through The Looking Glass
just insanely good. I'm convinced, that in film or tv, I'll never see anything as entertaining/mindblowing in my lifetime.
Also, the best storytelling I've ever witnessed
