for some reason which escapes me, i have to review and audit all the construction, financial and legal details for a multi-million pound project (which relates to national security as well - i could be a baby drowning terrorist for all they know/care). And when i say review, i mean "genuinely review the work of a massive national team of highly qualified architects and engineers" - something which clearly needs to be done by another team of highly skilled and qualified people. And nobody seems to want to take any responsibility whatsoever - people on £60,000 pa seem entirely incompetent and unwilling to accept the fact that this is, at best, a process of such extreme pointlessness that would make even a major case study of pointlessness as myself weep with fury
