Open letter to Susan Westidge
If you are going to start a debate on a forum that is fine.
However, if you put the name of a quango after your own name, then full details of that quango need to be given, at the very least a web address for it, so that users of the board can find some information after the quango.
It seems odd that your question is "are drugs any good for a community"? What is meant is exactly by a "community"? Clearly, you must think drugs are of some use for such a "community" - perhaps you could explain how.
Recreational drug use is common. Over-enthusiastic drug pushers, drug addiction, children using drugs, crime to support drug use, are clearly not good. Why would anyone think they are? Do you think they are?
Pomposity is dealt with very quickly on this forum.
Is your next topic "When is racism in the community a good thing?" by Susan Westidge (MothersAgainstRacism)
Careering into this forum, bedecked with prejudices, is the not the way to start intelligent debate. I suggest you devote your self-righteous energies to tackle crime, rather than assuming any young people (the majority of users here are under 25) think unlimited drug use and all its associated acts are great.
