Pretty insanse really. Not sure how this will affect everyone. The Tories will end up having lots of in fighting no doubt over how tough they should be on terrorism. The Lib Dems look like they won't oppose him when he stands in a by-election. Labour might be looking forward to this chance as their policy is still popular with the public I think.

Some people may think that he's just getting back at Cameron after losing the leadership.
