I was JUST thinking this about five minutes ago.

Colour too. And height.
I do....not height though.
Although I've definately tasted orange, and felt it spread/seep warmly through my mind.
Oh and texture too, and vibrations, like you can taste a guitar string vibrating (without actually touching it) but you can taste its pitch and the variations.

If you think your chewing gum has run out of flavour, put some sugar on your tongue, and the like BOOM black suits fill the room up. What we think of as mint flavouring is just the sweetener.
