where Apu's mum shows up at the Kwik-E-Mart in the episode Apu pretends to be married to Marge, and ends up decking it outside the front doors.
hilariously classic "old cartoon lady decking it" moment. it's not the greatest, though, and neither is this.
the look on her face when she falls over and Apu's "great, this will give me some more time" :)
but i would have to say, that when it ends i will see that as a great moment.
ain't what she used to be.
but I adore the bit in the Kwikimart where Homer describes his new, people trapped on a dinosaur island, film idea to Apu.
Also - all of the Krusty Comeback Special.
That was skinner.
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!
Apu can't believe Homer is describing a great idea for a film he doesn't think has been done before.
You gotta trust me.
because you're right
"the great american novel"
"I wish I was dead."
but had to compensate
at THIS TIME OF YEAR?
in THIS PART OF THE COUNTRY!?
localised ENTIRELY IN YOUR KITCHEN!?!
may I see?
a poor collection of 'greatest simpsons moments'
so its just people saying oh this was good... and in the case of some people GETTING IT WRONG
when they brought him back a couple of times after that = no
I don't care if not, its amazing.
Can't find it anywhere, though :(
Thief: [holds teacup and saucer] Hello.
Homer: All right, pal: where'd you get the sugar for that tea?
Thief: I nicked it when you let your guard down for that split second,
and I'd do it again. [sips tea] Goodbye.
this. i was gonna say this!
instead, i'll have to go with...
"hello, my name is Guy Incognito. Might I trouble you for a drink?"
or any scene with Gill.
it's either this...
(the original is much funnier obvs)
any of the classic grandpa simpson quotes. like his story about having an onion in his belt, which was the fashion at the time.
except they kind of made a much funnier version of grandpa with the professor in Futurama.
and his rivalry with Wernstrom.
it's still good! it's still good!"
ZEE GOGGLES DO NOTHING
but the commentators in the Pretzel Wagon episode when hall-of-famer Whitey Ford gets knocked unconscious by a barrage of pretzels.
Also in that episode "No deal, McCutcheon. That moon money is mine!".
