Are the best lunch i have ever encountered. Kudos must go to Subway.
that is ridiculously cheap. no wonder americans are so fat.
i must admit. there is a que out the door most days, but at that price its criminal not to take them up on it.
HAVEN'T YOU SEEN THE COMMERCIALS???????/
anydange, you American?
i just live here, i grew up in Brighton.
Over here, the adverts on TV for Quizno's mock Subway by calling it 'Wrong Way'. hilarious these people.
I scrolled down and got well confused :(
I'd have baked something recently, but we've got an empty cupboard.
I forgot. It was lemon with like a semi-candied lemon on top--crazy.
DOESN'T SURPRISE ME.
i always knew she was.
Bellingham? are you kidding me?
My wife grew up there!
doing there? it's a strange place to go visit....
The greyhound was late and I had to kill 2 hours.
I saw a Subway shop
That was the extent of my Bellingham trip.
the PNW reminds me a lot of the UK. I prefer it up there compared to Socal.
Kurt Cobain was born around there if i remember rightly.
that's near the Olympic Mts.
Death Cab are from Bellingham though
and Hilary Swank!
Were you heading to Vancouver or to Seattle?
I also saw Everret (sp?) on the way UP to Vancouver
is a fucking awesome place. i'd move there in a heartbeat.
My sister in law is single, shes in seattle, i'll big you up to her....
I didn't love Vancouver at first, cos I was stuck in the downtown cos it pissed down for the first two days, so my initial impression was Takeaways and Homeless people.
Kitsilano was awesome though as was Stanley Park.
I REALLY wanted to try and climb some of the mountains cos I'd met a dude called Brian in Seattle who we are eventually gonna go back to see and hike with.
Hope to go back within the year. Planning to go to the Balkans, so I'm gonna have to be a slave and save some $$$
to seattle for xmas every year. This year my family are coming over too, so we're going on a jaunt to vancouver for a few days and then maybe taking the train to Whistler, which is meant to be amazing.
Seattle is the closest place i found that reminds me of the UK. It has seasons, good beer and bad weather.
I even know WHERE I want to live in Seattle.
i know someone that lives in Ballard. My wifes family lov over in Queen Ann, which is just full of bars, oh and Easy Street Records. The latter makes me wet myself a lot.
have anything on Ameoba.
i have thrown so much money at this place its unreal.
I really want to move to the PNW.
So...any American girls wanna help me get residency?
Oh well...just another 150 million odd to choose from then.
Spam her with PMs until she gives in.
*plans opening pm*
It's gonna start with
' Hi. You don't know me. But how's about it eh *wink*
Perhaps someone could send me an American girl my way as well pls?
he did ask nicely!
We all do. You'll learn, in time.
Nothing like a sore loser!
I don't remember. Hmm.
i saw this in NY but fucking hell, it only applies to some sandwiches - not the philly cheese steak. that's 8 dollars. fuck that shit.
also americans get a choice of four types of cheese. we only get one: plastic fucking cheese :(
have the grated 'American' cheese as well, which is much nicer
still pretty good. They've added more to the list now.
yes, we get 4 types of cheese :
I feel cheated.
