you silly man
as music fans... a good hi-fi should be the be all and end all.
the money is spent on music.
if you can afford one you cant afford one.
still, my rather daft point stands!!! :)
tristan. which is your name. yes.
I just can't afford a better one.
"you're an addict..."
"you're an addict"
(over clunky hip hop beatz)
but, i just can't comprehend people who compromise on such things, when classing themselves as music fans. its like being into film and owning a 14" tele.
has nothing to do with a song's quality though.
but, it can effect my enjoyment of it.
melvins would sound shit on a tiny radio.
don't listen to music, just download it and kinda forget about it..
That's why you're posting on the interwebs, innit.
p.s. I went to Camberley this weekend and it's still shite.
was part of you disappointed that it wasn't amazing?
NO FUTURE WORLD!
Rock Box now has the largest selection of Metal-band pencil tins I've ever seen.
The BBQ Pit is still worthy of the term 'pit'.
Virgin has gone, and reappeared as Zavvi, and is now full of cunts in bandanas.
The Atrium is still a building site.
Topsy is still fat and lazy.
what matters to me is what I play on it, not what I play with it. As such I spend my cash on actual music, rather than a BOSE stereo or anything. Otherwise I'd just download music as I couldn't afford to buy it and benefit artists.
It's quite selfish of me to spend money on enhancing my enjoyment of something.
It's just quite twattish to ask why other people don't do it.
i just didn't ask it in the best possible way.
you kind of assumed people with shit stereos just don't want better ones and your posts that suggest a real music fan's priority should be a good hi-fi are just ridiculous.
we have other priorities apart from masturbating over our giant subwoofers. Like going out and having sex.
sex = the be all and end all of being 'cool'
but seriously, audio geeks who harp on about khz and bass depth and all kinds of other carp can eat my shit (c) Richard Browne, 2008.
Get help and get lives. Try actually enjoying the sound without wazzing all over your ultra awesome 24 speaker system which you use to play minimal techno at the perfect pitch and volume just like in a club.
i'm not an audiophile, i've not spent 1000s on a cd player (could of, but didn't)
i do enjoy the sound, i enjoy the sound more when i can hear every element.
ps. i only have 2 speakers. do i need more?!!? shit.
suck my audio cock.
because I can't be bothered to buy a better one. I hope this answers your question.
its shit cause its dying, the one in my room is pretty decent if I do say so myself at 850watts and with Pro Logic II/Dolby sound. It aint too bad
and can knock a ceramic horse off a shelf from over thirteen metres away.
and it makes my room shake like a fitting child in the arms of Louise Woodward!
after running that synth through it.
That said, I don't really have room in me flat for my big hi-fi, which is annoying, as I really want to hear what Altar sounds like through it.
i've only played music on my laptop.
i hate my life.
its my pet hate is that, I refuse to listen to music threw a laptop.
refusing to listen to music and throwing laptops!
but I have a speaker set for it, which does me just fine thanks.
i borrowed one for a while but only one speaker worked so i gave it back.
have had really shit taste in music.
might be shit, but i enjoy it. it might also be awesome, i enjoy it :)
it has a turntable, a seedy player, an amp and two speakers. Loud/good enough for me.
i'm happy with the quality of it. i'd rather spend 350 on CDs than upgrading it or whatever.
also you've got to remember that not everyone has space for a huge system.
it's reet lovely, first one I've properly put together. Lovely Richer Sounds. Amp £120, CD Player £40, cable for PC £10, had speakers already (but could easily get good ones for £50. £200 for good setup.
Got by perfectly well for 10 years without much of one though.
