I want a white font with a black outline. How do I make this happen please?
there are two boxes in the top left corner - one is for the outline, the other for fill. Highlight the text you want changing, and then change the colour of the swatches to correspond with white (or paper) fill and black outline. Ta da.
My work here is done.
is this outline box of which you speak? i have swatches menu open and have selected text and the 'paper' option thingum.
there are two little boxes. The one above is for the text and the one below is for the outline - this probably has a red line though it at the moment to indicate "none". Click the lower box, then select the outline clour you want.
My next advice was going to be to stick to Word ;)
scissors + pritt stick
to sound like a twat, but this is pretty basic stuff. In the top left corner there are two square's with a small curved arrow between the two. Clicking on one of these boxes alternates between the "outline" of the font and the "fill". Select one, change the colour and see what happens on screen to the font. Then do the same with the other box. Now you should be able to work out which is the fill and which is the outline then you can change to whatever colours you want.
I'm not sure I can explain it any other way.
i'm a total dtp n00b when it comes to anything more advanced than moving things around on a screen.
REALLY quark me up
This much adobe about nothing though.
