In the past three months, one of my oldest friends has gone from a life of dull domesticity and an occassional pint of Guiness to dumping his lady of 8 years, smoking the reefer, snorting the coke, chain smoking the cigarettes, becoming a complete 'player' with women and having an occassional pint of Guiness.

It is like meeting a new person who you vaguely know. I'm still undecided as all we can think is "Wow! I don't know who he is!"

Have any of us seen such huge transformations in our friends?
