Also: ancient stone buildings will last longer than modern buildings made out of glass and paperclips. WHAT ON EARTH???!
AND: when metal isn't well maintained, it rusts and corrodes. JESUS CHRIST!
That's what I learnt over the period of an hour and a half on Channel 4 last night. Shocking stuff, eh?
