Indiana Jones & The Deeply Flawed Sequel

Captain_Robot [Edit] [Delete] 15:54, 22 May '08

Just been to see the first showing of the new Indy film at my local cinema. I'd give it 5.5/10. The action scenes are quite good, especially the bit with the ants (you'll see what i mean if you go and see it)

However Ray Winstone and Shia Lebouf do their level best to rain on Indy's parade, by displaying as much subtlety and nuance as an Edwin Van Der Sar interview.

The dialogue clunks along like it was written by my 8 year old nephew, and the grand narrative of the film is deeply conusing to say the least.

But it's Indiana Jones so its hard to hate too much. I just wish George Lucas would exercise some quality control now and again.

CGI gophers are silly.
