I get it completely the wrong way round and do the preventative actions after i've got the cold.
Last night I:
Had 9 of the 5 daily fruit and veg, drank 3 vitamin C tablet drinks, took two multi-vitamin tablets for the over 50s (stolen from my dad), had an actimel drink, 2 paracetemol, 2 ibuprofen and one lemsip.
Oh, and plenty of sleep.
I still feel shit, unsurprisingly.
What do you do to make yourself "better"?
