Okay, so a few years ago I remember reading an extract from a book which took evidence from exhumations across Britain & concluded that every year around 3500 people are buried after being incorrectly diagnosed as dead...

It was full of anecdotes about people trying to tunnel their way out of mortuaries, people who had worked their fingers to the bone trying to scratch their way out of coffins, and people who had begun to eat themselves etc etc...
