Yesterday was a nightmare. It was raining all day and I left work in the City Centre at 5pm. It took half an hour for the bus to move a few yards up the road then it seems like the world, its wife and pets are on the road at the same time!!!! Argh I got home at about 6:30pm.

When it was sunny I had hayfever and now it's cold and wet, I got flu.

That's what happens when you live north of Watford. It's been blazing sunshine here in Kent since 1st May.

I don't know what's in Kent apart from you but I'm assured it's boring as fuck.

              Thank You

that's brilliant, feed them bread and plenty of it. ducks can't fail to make people happy and that's why they're the best animal ever.

once there was a peacock in my garden

We've got a dead field mouse in our garden. The catch caught the poor wee thing.

THe rain has probably carried it away!

Nah its still there looking pretty grotty, at least the rain keeps the flies off it!

There's one with a green head and two brown ones.

Are they mallards? For reasons not completely unrelated to the name of this thread I am not going outside to feed them.

Yes, it's not the most exciting place but we do have non-stop sunshine.

To answer your question Marco, I've heard things are 'brightening up' on Friday and Saturday all over the country. I'll be in Stockton/Middlesborough area at the end of the month to experience your wonderful weather first hand.

Lucky duck. Is there lightening too? And funder?
Would you prefer rain and long guiltless showers or a drought and water restrictions? Cause I'll take rain anyday grumblepants.

You know what I wish? That they made yellow raincoats and wellingtons my size and that I wouldn't look a twat wearing them in public. With a yellow umbrella and plastic hat to match.
