I was smiling on the bus at 1) a grown up man who had a lolly and 2) two old dudes who were clearly overjoyed to bump into each other and it showed all over their faces.

Then I got to work and it was just hateful.

I had a gorgeous bunch of flowers turn up from my sister, a bottle of champagne that seems to be worth about £100 from a guy for being understanding about a stupid mistake someone had made, and my boss promised that he's getting me exempt from the 10% pay-cut that's a lurking.

What nice things have happened to you? The sun being out seems to make life so much nicer - but I've also noticed loads of nutters today! :)
