I know about Hypem and use that for music blogs etc. but does anyone know any or recommend me i dunno would you call them social blogs? Or lifestyle blogs.

There isn't a directory of just pretty cool blogs about what evers floating boats?

I ask cos I'm meeting with a PR company on Thursday and while I know about the music blogs would be handy to know some other decent/entertaining/influential blogs.
