Now I think that many of us do this, I use this mentality as a way of preventing myself from a complete mental breakdown.
Particularly when I’m out for a drink I encounter many human specimens that can’t be described as anything more than Neanderthals, acting like they’ve just emerged from a cave. This behaviour is especially noticeable among the males. They have to compete by fighting and generally showing each other just how “hard” they are (this seems to be the word they use anyway). They make sure that they frequently visit gyms so that they look as “hard” as possible, this is very important to make themselves look better that other males and they will try and show this at every possible opportunity. This sort of behaviour is especially common when they see an opportunity to mate with a female.
These males think they’re superior to people like me but I’m well aware that this is not the case because I know that I’m the superior one. I was discussing this with another gentleman over the weekend and he helped me re-affirm my thoughts on this subject.
In a world where intelligence is much more important than simply acting “hard” I fail to see the point in this behaviour. We don’t live in caves anymore, the sooner these people realise this the better, though that’s the problem, they’re idiots.
Does anyone else feel like this, or am I being a complete cock? (I suggest you answer with the former)
