so i'm usually very keen to avoid starting threads like this however i'm kinda in need of a bit of advice.

do long spells apart from someone completly damage a relationship? are things ever the same again? do people Really remain together whilst at different uni's?

some past experiences would be great to get a general overview.

this is regarding me travelling for 3 months, being home for summer and then the more long-term issue being uni in september. but yes. two issues. the travelling to begin. the uni thing secondly.
