My flat has just been billed £1600 for council tax with a scheme of paying £162 a month for ten months. The thing is, that is a scheme they worked out is based on the fact that my housemate has lived here nearly a year and never paid council tax. Another guy and myself have lived here for a couple of months but havent got round to sorting out payments.

Does anyone know how much council tax is payable for a band B property in Tower Hamlets per month? I cant afford to help pay that bill...
