"many spies have many eyes"
That's really cool - all randoms and hangerons socially must now, from this day forth, be known as Figwits.
brilliant aint it. And doesn't he look pretty as a Elf man. As Flight Of The Concords say in their radio serries Everyone had a hand in making lord of the rings in NZ....
It is maybe so he doesnt get ID'ed when he goes and buys his one beer with Jerrmain. Or maybe cos hes in a folk act. I never knew about the Figwit thing untill I started googling flight of the concords stuff when I got the DVD
He's a huge Lord of the Rings geek, seen the trilogy over a dozen times.
First time Bret comes on screen - "Oh, he was one of Farimir's rangers, wasn't he?"
He recognised somebody who's only on screen for a few seconds. Frightening.
of these guys than I am, which makes me feel quite unburdened - I alienated many, many people who love me with my FotC obsession towards the end of last year. I've calmed down a little bit now though...pople can talk to me and I won't start humming Bret You've Got It Going On. Probably.
I just WISH TO GOD I'd thought of the whole concept as it's sooo akin to my humour. On every level. It's just brilliant. :D *

(oh sooo sad).
Yes am Australian but LOVE the pisstakes about us - it's so refreshing (and true) and anyway, have lived here for 8 years so am more Londoner now anyway.
There are a lot of in jokes but anyone who has lived away from home or come from a provincial town or city will relate.
