Quick one, but I imagine i'll get at least 3 different opinions on this, which beats ringing my Mum. WHo frankly things I've already done this application so I'll get bollocked if I do. Do I sound employable so far? Good.

Anyway. I'm applying for a job that I had as a temp a year back. However I've only had one job since then, so I only have my line manager from this job, and the line manager from the job I'm applying for as a referee.

Is it poor form to put the person who is line maanger of the department you are applying too as a referee?
