when/why in gods name did they change dr robotniks name to dr eggman.
no he wasnt.
dont lie to me.
dr robotnik was actually called dr kintobor and was a good guy and then turned evil and so he changed his name? that used to be a rumor at my primary school.
There was definitely someone called Dr.Kintobor anyway.
regarding another sonic-related subjct i spent all day sunday playing sonic 1 on the mgadrive. remembered the cheat for it and everything...
You children don't know you're born nowdays. The kindly Dr Ovi Kintobor was changed into the cruel Dr Ivo Robotnik in the same lab accident that changed Sonic into a speedy blue freak.
It's all detailed in the Stay Sonic companion guide and Sonic The Comic issues I totally never bought and read religiously through large parts of my childhood.
in the sonic comic.
for years, sonic was(and probably still is) the only thing i can draw.
I had a sketch of that stupid Poochie robot squirrel character from one of the artists. Got it from the UK Comic Art Convention some time in the mid 90s.
I remember having those comics, despite never actually owning a Mega Drive...
Macedonian football clubs with differently-spelt but identically-pronounced names?
I'm probably wrong
"Due to a split storyline between the Japanese and American/European Sonic games, the character of Robotnik/Eggman has been known by several names in the various media and adaptations of the Sonic franchise. In Japan, the character has always been known as "Doctor Eggman" since his introduction in the first Sonic the Hedgehog game. However, in early American and European game versions and other media he is known as Doctor Ivo Robotnik. Although, despite this, both names slipped occasionally in the different regions."
i was just there.
it all makes sense now-ish
