I'll fill you in and maybe someone can help me with my confusion...

I applied to the second year fine art course at Dundee Uni by mistake.. I'd meant to apply to the first year general course. I sent them a letter telling them of my mistake, but never got a reply. They asked to see my portfolio, which I sent. I didn't hear anythiong from them for four weeks today and then today when I went on the UCAS website to track my application, it says I have an unconditional offer.

Could this possibly be a mistake? I mean, I haven't even been for an interview or anything.. And is the offer for a first or second year place?

I'm tempted to be ecstatic about this, but I have a feeling I'd just be gettikng my hopes up.

I made the mistake of telling my mum about this who in a couple of hours managed to inform most of the family that I'd gotten into art school. Oh dear.
