how rare is this?
i want a cat when i move out of halls at uni.
does anyone here have a landlord that keeps them as pets?
house rabbits ftw
anyway no. i don't. but my landlord wouldn't know if i kept this place as a zoo (believe me i've tried, i was going to get a house rabbit but my flatmate said "CLAIRE, THE LEASE _STILL_ SAYS NO PETS AND YOU _STILL_ HAVE A RAT, SO YOU'RE NOT GETTING A HOUSE RABBIT"
in my life so far, and all of them have had "no pets" as a specification.
i really want a cat as well :(
going through letting agents tends to be a bit more shit regarding any flexibility with contracts.
where they've said we could keep pets. Might be more likely if you don't go through an estate agent because then you can plead with the landlord more directly. I mean I don't even have a contract with my landlord and he's never actually said we can't have pets, whereas whenever I've gone through an estate agent there's been a contract that says no pets and the landlord has been impossible to contact directly.
but have a cat anyway, hows he gonna know
Never. So I used to borrow my friend's cats for two week stretches when she was on holiday, or away for a long weekend. Less chance of getting caught for short periods.
Because I really need to move out sometime........
