gah, i'm well nervous. any tips?
so that you have to move your head for the to work properly, this way the instructor an see when you are looking at them.
when ever you turn the wheel first look in the mirror of the direction you are turning, that way you will wont ever miss a time when you should have looked in the mirror.
adjust the mirrors downwards for the manouveres so you can see the curb pavement, makes it loads easier.
dont kill any horses.
Im probably not someone to listen to having taken 5 driving tests.
is that why you needed 5 tests?
Remember to check your mirrors after changing up a gear and accelerating away from a roundabout/junction.
Failure to do so resulted in me taking my test three times!
and be over-careful! I missed the turning off a roundabout on my test, but calmly went around again and took the correct turning. No minors!
Just be extra aware!
your from Maidenhead. I work in Maidenhead. Don't kill me.
If you're from Maidenhead, are you doing your test in Slough at the test centre next to the big horrible roundabout? I took my first test there. I failed. :-(
(My tip would be to practice going round that roundabout more than once.)
i just put maidenhead to make me sound less posh. yes the test is in slough, i've practiced those bastard roundabouts many times.
thanks for the good luck everyone, i'm leaving in 45 mins.
i'll try not to kill you h_k. where do you work?
Seriously though - just remain calm, don't panic and if you think you've done something wrong, carry on and don't dwell on it. It took me 7 attempts to pass, but I did it in the end! Also, watch out for pedestrians on those fake crossings.
thats what i had to do as I got so ridiculously nervous in my driving test(s).
Also obey all speed limits, even if they seem to go down to thirty in a stupid area!
I passed. Zero minors. Sweet
