I'm much more creeped out by that
seemed to have been on a downward spiral for the last few weeks, and god knows probably before too
so weird to read about this sort of dark side to someone who was so 'zany' on cbbc art programmes :/
I feel really bad for having a morbid curiosity about this now. It's so odd to imagine somebody that you grew up with and saw as a completely neutral figure *actually* felt stuff too.
I used to watch Smart as a kid, and he seemed like a nice enough guy, even if he did indulge in drugs. Just read that he was planning some sort of tribute to Natasha Collins before he went mjssing :(:(
Poor guy. Must be awful for him and his fiancee's family.
obviously not going into any of the detail, but just acknowledge the sadness of his death, instead of just totally skirting the issue.
"It is understand the 42-year-old had hanged himself and had not been hit by a train."
That just makes this even worse.
the loss of his fiance seems to've just hit him so badly, at a guess i'd say he probably felt somewhat responsible and it's a tragic, tragic series of events
Utter shit, this. Shame he never had a closer eye kept on him after the death of his girlfriend.
gotta love him
a jaded and silly and insecure little boy mouthing off "controversially" about a subject he has no awareness of.
Body: that wasn't very Smart was it? '
But I used to watch SMart when I was a nipper and so his passing is sad.
The bit about finding his body in a dark corner of Paddington station when he hadn't been hit by a train is bizarre. How do you think he did it?
It's been less than an hour and i've already recieved 3 text jokes on the subject.
Nobody ever goes in there.
getting in the way of getting to sainsburys?
I used to watch Smart and all those kinds of shows when I was younger. He always seemed like such a warm character. I can only imagine what kind of toll the double trauma of your fiancee dying and then being (very obviously falsely) accused of her murder must take on a person. Especially when that person is a TV presenter who would never have worked again after that, no matter how dubious the allegations. Poor guy :-(
And all those people joined that Neil Buchanan is dead Facebook group and then this happens.
Were you lying?
for news that has just broke.
who deleted the posts and why?
It's like Eamonn Holmes dying and then people saying Eamonn Holmes is dead: deal or no deal?
i used to love smart (still would watch it if i saw it on)
this is just really, really sad. i feel so bad for his and his fiances family, what a loss :(
Big massive lump in my throat right now
I used to love Scratchy & Co back when I was a kid, it made my saturday mornings.
and there was a kid with a deep voice and they both had plastic hair? Ive been trying to recall the name of that show for years. Also :(
or scratchy and co?
I'm so sad :(
it makes me sad. i loved smart, i watched it as an adult and still thought it was great, he was a really good artist. i could see it coming though. i knew he was a bit unstable. :(
