this seems a bit out there for ITV...
It's reminding me of Tim Burton in sappy Big Fish mode so far
Anna Friel is supposed to be in this as well.
SoapFact: when that Newcastle United Goal movie she was in came out I was invited to the clubs private screening and after party, she was extremely hot and lovely in person. Lee Bowyer bought me champagne.
to make ITV marginally less shite than it has been. It doesn't really feel like a natural home for imported American drama (seeing Dexter on there was really odd) but credit where it's due.
Pushing Daisies looks a bit sickly-sweet for me, mind. And they still show Dancing on Ice so fuck them.
seems a bit more e4, myself. 'pushing daisies' feels like it belongs there too. i actually don't know what the fuck is going on in it...i do like jim dale's narration though.
anyway, to me itv is synonymous with shit 'celebrity'/'reality' programmes, coronation street, loose women and failed family films.
will watch again.
needs another viewing
but I'd give Anna Friel one. LOL
So will no doubt be cancelled in a couple of months. And for the recors, I really don't like Amelie. So so so good.
Ned's quite Edward Scissorhands. Without the scissorhands. And with the ability to bring the dead back to life.
I like it.
To me it's a mix of Tim Burton, Lemmony Snicket, and Desperate Housewives. Someone else I know said it reminded them of Amelie a bit as well, which I kinda see.
Nice to see ITV doing something though. For years now the only watchable thing they've had has been TV Burp.
The more I watch of it, the more I like.
I sang along to them singing Little Birdhouse in your Soul and it made me a happy rabbit.
