The funding for my current post runs out in October, and I've only just realised I need to get my finger out and start applying for jobs now. This is proving somewhat annoying as a) all the jobs I want, where I want (in London) involve a pay cut and b) the application forms take forever and require actual brain power as this is what I will be selected on.
