on the corner of where the square meets that road that leads to the Macbeth.
i've forgotten the name of it, but it's really small and teensy and like someones living room. it's lovely.
Ha ha - yes, but my housemate is taking his warehouse inhabitants there for drinking tonight so I want to be weeeeeell clear of there, thanks ;-)
on Columbia Road (all low lights, candles and shiz). Upstairs in the Commercial Tavern is nice if it's midweek/not all all if not.
The Dove on Broadway Market. It also has terrifyingly potent cider.
I did see someone wearing a turtle neck sweater in there.
Been past but ne'er been in.
[enthusiastic approval] to your other two suggestions. The back room of the Carpenter's is nice and cosy.
I know the owner of The Florist and used to dj there years ago... so that's out as owner will be there, no doubt.
Ravey Street, just off Great Eastern Street, opposite The Griffin pub. There's no sign outside, just a mouse painted on the floor of a doorway leading to a little stairwell down into the bar. It's sexy. And the music tonight is going to be fantastic.
it's not. I'm in no way affiliated with the bar or the night going on tonight, I'm just a big fan of both.
