let's talk about this years IGF!
you think you so smart huh...
Slipknot have had their masks stolen by arch-rivals Mushroomhead!
It's up to you to guide each member of slipknot through a level to retrieve their mask, battling nu-metal also rans along the way!
Suitable for ages 12-16.
What it is, where it's from or anything actually.
games made by independant developers.
if you've ever played alien homonid, N, crayon physics etc. etc. they're all indie games.
So it actually means what it says on the tin. In that case no, don't even know of any.
but what defines an independent developer? Do they have to self-publish?
Or is it like in the music industry where you have a group of recognised multinationals that are considered major label?
Anyway I like Valve games a lot and I was playing N+ on the 360 the other day which is ace.
is one that does everything himself/themselves. they have no backing from a publisher and in most cases self-publish but sometimes they get a publishing deal (like valve). i mean, valve has loads of indie games (audiosurf, darwinia, uplink) and there's a whole festival dedicated to indie games (IGF).
combine indie gaming with indie music if u wish!
It's boring. I combine indie gaming with Meshuggah. It's fucking hard.
Yes i do.
esp amiga/atari scene indie development.
There is a lot of crap though..but its fun siftign through.
I'm in the process of setting up a web zine dedicated to indie games, music, apps..
bascailyl a pop culture zine for anything developed independently ..
