Lame iPod Speaker Dilemma Thread

Alex-in-Ciderland [Edit] [Delete] 13:10, 9 April '08

Right, another day, another tedious consumer electronics thread, but, you don't HAVE to read it or contribute, k?

I'm after a speaker system for my soon to arrive iPod, I'm looking to spend not more than 100 quid ideally......

I've ruled out the Bose SoundDock as it's just too expensive, current favourtites are the Altec Lansing IM7
http://www.alteclansing.co.uk/proddata.php?partno=E3298&desc1=InMotion%20IM7

and the Klipsch iGroove
http://www.klipsch.com/world/eu/en/products/details/igroove.aspx

Both reputable companies who've been doing the whole audio thing for a while and their respective products seem to meet with near universal positive reviews.

Absolutely perfect sonic integrity isn't vital, but, I'd like the speakers to sound good with decent bass/treble response. No point spending too much though as this will be secondary to my existing Denon stereo.

What do YOU use, any recommendations?
