This thread is so DULL, it might KILL you (Mobile phone contract-centric)

The second (and final) of my mobile phone related queries tonight, promise......

So, I'm currently with Vodafone (utter oxygen thief scum) and now that my 18 month contract is almost up (it expires at the end of the month) I have ordered a lovely new phone with a WAY better tariff on '3'.

The thing is, each time I've changed network prior to this I've done it through Carphone Warehouse so all of the admin has been taken care of for me by the sales staff, so......

How do I go about exiting the Vodafone contract (yes, I realise this probably sounds incredibly stupid!), is it simply a case of calling them and telling them that we're just not meant to be?

Obviously, I'm keen to avoid paying paying for two contracts!
