It's for two people, whose name's begin with... L and P

Apparently we're supposed to dress up as something beginning with either of those letters. Thing is, we're gonna be out, around the Shoreditch area, and although there's already a high proportion of people dressed like twats there, I'd rather avoid being one of them. But I can't not 'dress up', as I barely know anybody going and so don't want to look like a boring tosser

What can I go as that a) Isn't too ridiculous, and b) I can't get relatively cheaply?

My girlfriend is going as a 'parrot' (flowery top, feather earrings), and my mate Bear is going as a pimp. I do not want to go as a pimp
