apart from Tristan obviously?
God its like North vs South isn't it or something -soooooo different that we need different sites*
* I'm being sarcastic.
What does it mean when your chest goes all tight and your left arm goes all tingly and you aren't having a wank?
Are you infering I'm getting so angry that I may have a coronary?
now and then
I did once. But then the editor got so offended by me daring to give more sensible advice than Alison Moyet that she deleted both it and our subsequent brief conversation in which I may have accidentally mocked and undermined the column, the website and the contributers.
Not my fault I'm simply better than Alison Moyet at stuff.
but even I'm too masculine to go there
The Guardian got Beth Ditto...so, on our tight budget and a decreased list of lumpy female pop stars to pick, we got...Alison Moyet!!!!
her column un-commentable now.
Did I miss some fun?
I have noticed a recent trend for coloured tights, and it has rather taken my fancy. But I am a 32 year old woman. Will I look ridiculous wearing magenta hosiery around town?"
"Perhaps you will. Does that matter?"
WHOO EVERYONE DO WHAT YOU FEEL
YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD
HERE GRANDMA WEAR THESE SUNGLASSES WITH FLOURESCENT PINK FRAMES
its for offce girls who go to boy band reunion tours at the O2
really edit the site? I have 3 of her singles. I don't like them anymore
to make sure she knows that
or is it because men are all morons and some girls are a bit too 'boy-girl' and hate other girls because thety think they're in constant competition with other girls to 'win the affections' of some 'indie boy'.
Not saying that these people exist but they do
do you think there was a theme there even though all 3 singles are from 3 different album campaigns
See that I used the word 'campaign' there - that's marketing speak for something to do with albums you know. Well the women wouldn't know that but us men would as we're so autistic about music aren't we 'fellas'?
i typed this with one hand because i am eating AN apple
I thought RnR Massacre would love it.
I mean this in a nice way as I like RnR Massacre.
they don't get music in the same way that we do Tom, they're too emotional about it, the silly daft mares.
and leave the serious stuff to us.
OMG i've just seen the drummer of Gene! Does this mean I'm gay?
But he makes me feel so safe
Dildo vs. A Man, but I don't have the balls.
or only if they are feminine men?
Would they ever allow a contribution from someone like bamos?
i think it's prissy, irritating lipstick feminism that reinforces gender binaries and offends women's intelligence (ooh! unicorns and glitter) and suggests that the majority of indie boys are wankers, and suggests that pop stars are fighting the patriarchy just by virtue of being women when in some cases it's blatantly untrue (yes, you, Natasha Khan)
for platforms to promote women's creative endeavour, i don't think the music press is one where it is appropriate. things like the lipster encourage female musicians to be seen as novelties rather than just part of a wider scene.
Do you mean when you can make the sides of it pink?
Or not? WHAT?
massive dykey feminist that i am *jokes*
it's just a bit too - well, normal.
i was hoping for bigger things. :(
