When Bureacracy Goes Wrong
Some of you may know I've been trying to get onto a post-grad teaching course next year. You have to apply through a 3rd party organisation (i.e. not directly to the universities themselves), much like UCAS for undergrad courses.
So I applied via the third party, who have a status tracker online. A few days ago I checked it, it told me I'd been rejected by the uni I applied to and gave me the option to apply elsewhere, which I of course did.
Now it turns out the 3rd party (the GTTR for those in the know) fucked up and the uni I applied for want to interview me, but I'm now obliged to the second choice uni and it doesn't look like there is much I can do about it. So fucking angry right now.
Any tale of bureacracy woe you can share to make me feel better?
