Eurgh, I've just seen that I have 2,500+ posts now. Get on with it.
It used to be blonde, but it's gradually turned darker over the course of my life. Now I think it could probably officially be called brown, but it's a golden brown. I think it's ugly as fuck, but I can never dye my hair because I've had too many hairdressers tell me not to ever, even now that it is brown. Longest answer to a hair question ever.
Really, really tough. When I was little it was orcas, now I don't know. Let's just say starfish. Or sea stars, whatever.
or a united states.
youre a fraud
he better be from dundee!
We've already been over this. Really, atbay and I are the same person.
(Serious answer: I am female, but no, I am not a united states.)
Just in case that went over your head.
now I've ruined Seamus for you?
But it might mean I have to forget anything and everything about you. You will no longer exist, to my mind, if ever I become a mom.
My name's seamus! (in gaelic)
I like the name James too, but obviously, I can only use one.
does your left hand stay still with the right one hitting it or vice versa?
But I still clap with both moving sometimes, even though I am no longer a kindergartener.
Probably berries, but I'm not even sure what my favorite berry is. It comes down to either blueberries or strawberries, I think. That's such a small fruit though, it feels like it can't be my favorite. I really like gala apples, but apples make me burp.
I don't believe berries count as fruit.
they ain't fruit.
what would you call it?
I probably won't be a mom; I've got to use my perfect baby names somehow.
would be a good name for a spaceship. Now I think about it Icarus Smicarus would be even better.
FLOOD, TORNADO OR VOLCANIC OVERFLOW?
It's what I've been drilled for, having grown up in Middle America. Also, I was at a county fair once when one went through a few miles away, and it was scary but not as bad as almost drowning or being burned/melted. Plus it doesn't leave the basement smelling bad.
lava is full of sulphides.
I used to have the UK pretty high up in my consideration for study abroad, but you all convinced me otherwise.
Do I need to reply to yr pm?
No, you don't need to. It's a free world and you can do as you please.
Definitely not me. Isn't it like factually fihiki?
Yes, don't be a dickhead. Tip for life: don't ask questions of someone in a PM if you are looking to finish up the exchange, duh.
I'll do a good one tonight when watching Reaper.
irish-americans, scottish-americans, amish?
The Amish make pretty great apple butter, but Irish-Americans brought us St. Patrick's day. And Scottish-Americans have contributed NOTHING. I will say Irish-Americans.
(Serious answer: Everyone's got equal potential to be great. Except the Amish.)
introduced most of the Klan iconography
like the burning cross.
WHAT's you're ancestry? aren't americans into ancestry?
And yeah, sort of. I mean almost everyone's family is from somewhere else; it can make an interesting discussion topic. Ancestor immigration stories and that.
is there anything special about english americans? or are they the WASPS? or just the majority? is george bush an english american? i bet he is.
but that doesn't mean anything. unless you're amish.
tend to be just Americans....first in, established everything, blended in and are at the top of the tree to this day.
imagine of a line of dejected Scottish Americans.
before his shoes wear out and he has to buy new shoes?
And probably also the weight of the man. I think most people just buy new shoes at least once a year anyway.
like hella not touching the ground
But probably less quickly. But he'll probably still buy new shoes within a year anyway.
in a car, would it fly?
It's not the engine that makes a jet fly.
what made you join?
I joined one day after having read the articles for months but never clicking onto the boards, and then one day I did click onto the boards and read a bit, and then I did again when I next visited DiS, and then again when I next visited DiS, at which point I joined because I didn't want to be a lurker. Now it's amongst my top co-email/im activities, even displacing useless things like science articles and stuff. Bah, who needs those?
the river (which i cant remember the name of) green in chicago on st patrick's day?
It's called the "Chicago River".
'The name "Chicago" is the French rendering of the Miami-Illinois name shikaakwa, meaning “wild leek”'
Still though, yeah.
If you are asking how many beans make five beans, it's five. But if you are asking how many beans make five bowls of pasta fizol, or five burritos, or five slices of beans on toast, you'll definitely need more.
a bean, a bean, a half of a bean, a bean, a bean and a half
Not only is it acceptable, it is often the most appropriate term to use.
