I am going in August - will probably spend a week or so there, before travelling to the USA.
So, anyone that has been/lives there, recommendations would be welcome for:

- night-life (I'm only 18, what can I do?!)
- places to stay (preferably B&Bs or hostels - cannot afford hotels)
- places to eat (I will be backpacking, need cheap good places, or just grocery stores?)
- places to visit (libraries, museums, galleries, places of interest)
- inter-city travel
