What's the integral of (1 - x^2)^1/2 wrt x? It's making me feel like a retard :(
it is x - half x squared
tho I wouldn't take that as gospel...it a trifle late for ol maths
It's 1/4 sin (2 arcsin x) + 1/2 arscin x, I hope.
Well that's another year's worth of maths I have to teach myself then. Awesome!
I misread the question, oh dear...it has been too long; didn't see the ^ correctly.
I tend to agree with your answer, thougt mine was far too straightforward but I never twigged why.
How glad am I I don't do this on a regular basis no more?
surely it's something more like (x-½x^2)/(1-x^2)^½
But I've always been shit at integration.
Chain rule can go fuck itself.
because the answer is pi/2 and the limits are 1 and -1.
Still I've given it all up for a nice bit of humanities. Far better.
Sounds like a BrassEye graph.
