And inside, http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandhealth/gallery/2008/mar/28/fashion1?picture=333276381
that's the worst newspaper feature of all time.
I hope it comes in a special pull-out poster in the print version.
"It’s a great design, a very grown-up bag. I get lots of comments about it because it’s very difficult to find a really good bag for a man."
as a female, I can only imagine the pain.
isn't actually that flatting.
You know what I mean. You can have all those, but as soon as you want to take your ipod too you're a bit stuck.
I just know I'm going to end up in an airport one day, see a sniffer dog patrol coming towards me from the other side of the terminal, and realise that in a few minutes a large burly man from HRM Customs & Excise is going to be sticking his begloved hand up my anus.
I only ever wear normal cut jeans, but even a wallet looks a bit bulky in there. Trying to fit in a wallet, phone, keys, spare change, ipod, oyster card... well, it's just not practical.
So his bag gives the impression of a 15yr old school boy and the contents confirm it.
because then i dont have to pay for the cloakroom and can put alcohol in it.
the guardian should really do a piece about you and your manbag.
what's in yours????????//
And use them as bait to trigger conversations with girls.
You have to pay more for bags normally don't you?
or you can fit about 3/4 jumpers or jackets in one bag, thus splitting the cost.
anything to save a few quid
My napsack currently has a pair of shoes, ear-plugs, an old payslip from my last job, a pen, waterproof trousers, a carrier bag, a notebook that I think is starting to rot, and probably some other useless guff on top of that.
that's the cutest thing ever.
to carry stuff in for festival season, because I can't keep not buying T-shirts, CDs and Jeffrey Lewis comics (bit specific, that one, but heartfelt) because I can't fit them in my coat pocket and don't want to carry them around for ten hours.
joeymahone has a manbag
daniel guntrip has a manbag
ITS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF
OR IS IT!?!?
It's not the first set of people I'd look to for fashion prudence.
I'M NOT BUYING YOU A DRINK
Good for stocking up on CDs in Rough Trade and carrying copies of Rock A Rolla, my laptop, my diary and my life in.
people still keep diaries? like actual good ones?
but it sounds as if it's derisive. sorry, i wasn't trying to seem really prickish.
He deserves everything he gets.
he hasn't got a radio show too, has he?
god, i hate the internets. i really sound like a prick atm. if you could hear me say all these things, you'd know i'm sweet as pie.
as that group of us who carry them pretty much everywhere rather than when we need them. Personally mine is for all my camera paraphernalia.
is there any need. What else do you need apart from phone and money and debit/credit card?
annoying 'JD' from scrubs.
"there are just so many bits I NEED (my empahsis, admitted) with me"
Errr no....just no....MTFU!
Somehow that doesn't surprise me.
Is there anybody in the music business who actually likes Conor McNicholas?
also, manbags are ok. i don't know how i'd manage without my bag/s, so i don't see why a guy should.
which I carry a light jumper in, in case it gets a bit chilly (y)
this is when one wears military style clothing. Jackets can be designed to have a multitude of pockets.
Trousers also can come with magazine pockets further down the leg.
I carry...multitool, lighter, twine, non-weopon knife, barmans freind, firelighting equipement, tinder, mp3 phone, pens, pencils, something pretty, and at the moment a pocket sized version of shakespeares sonnets, wind up torch, two aa batteries, two aaa batteries, nail clippers, needle and thread, silver foil, various stones and some small fashioned pieces of wood, and my jacket has a few thorns stuck through the hem of one of my pockets........No bag needed, no unsightly bulges, other than my gut
He reminds me of my Dad, if my dad wasn't bald.
I bet Conor McNicholas dances to Datarock better though.
I have a little(ish) one for carrying about wallet, mp3 player, headphones which are too big to fit in my pocket, keys, cigarettes, lighter and a compact camera. Got a Eastpak satchel bag too for all that plus my proper camera and the multitude of lenses + filters for it. Always have phone in pocket though.
just to see what it felt like.
It felt wrong.
