best places to visit to:
there are absolutely millions of places to eat. what do you like eating?
drinking depends on which areas you'll be going.
music will depend on when you'll be in london and who'll be playing!
i like any food thats hot and cheap
central london for drinking
music i appreciate is a little hard..
damn this post
loads of food
loads of bars
rough trade east/venues
loads of vintage shops/modern designers
i pretend it's not my favourite place in the world but it is
perfect perfect perfect
hang around the old truman brewery
get some bagels from the north end
thats my sundays
i agree with this post
apart from the bit about brick lane being favourite place in the world. it's alright; 7/10.
For general touristy purposes (might sound patronising but I don't live in London myself so I'm also a tourist there) I think Covent Garden is good for most of those thing. Good shops and restaurants and generally good atmosphere.
maybe brrick lane tommorow and covent carden thursday...
are you going for anything specific or just to have a look around etc?
ive been a few times but just to see family and now i have the chance to avoid that trial i want to see the rest of london not just the good end of wandworth!
and all ages
they sell good records

think il give it a wide birth :]
what even does that mean?
and even so its self explanatory isnt it?
oh wait you are being funny
i'm not being funny...i have never heard of that phrase ever. so what if i didn't understand it?
you have to explain that one as well.
rather than 'berth'. so i thought you was joking.
it just means to steer clear of.
but even then i haven't heard the phrase "give it a wide berth". thanks for explaining.
ill just help you out if people misunderstand you :P
the test icicle kids have to stick together :]
i'm sad to say...they've closed the BK in notting hill gate :( :( :(
having to pay 10p for a carton of barbecue sauce while ketchup-loving philistines got their condiment of choice for free, so they boycotted in protest. Unfortunately, Burger King won :(
i went to rota about a month ago and fancied a flame-grilled piece of goodness but i couldn't find the burger king...so i took off my glasses, cleaned them, and still couldn't find it! where the space is is just a white sign and boarded up doors.
from where burger king was. KFC opposite notting hill arts club. subway a couple of doors from arts club.
you were so focused on getting burger king that you only had eyes for the glowing lights emanating from their burger-shaped sign.
punk is probably the stupidest thing ever. its for people who want to be peaches geldof but dont have a famous dad.
its like an old school disco just everyone is on drugs/ overpriced vodka.
i forgot who i did see now... i was referring more to the music ha
'the cock', but they probably didn't go to the one in kilburn, which is a bit of a rough old irish pub.
It's got standup in there most nights and music too. I don't know where the alchies have gone. Yes I do: The Golden Egg.
we didn't actually play, because our bass player and guitarist both decided to leave, so I played an acoustic set on my own.
A fan of the band had flown all the way from Germany to see "us", but had got delayed, and got there during my final song to find me warbling out "Two Headed Boy" by Neutral Milk Hotel.
I felt very sorry for her, so we took her for a meal at Nandos, then to a posh pub, where we drank a speciality "cyder", and played Deal Or No Deal on the Itbox.
i saw someone in the b52s... and people that were walking around looking very rich and stuff
: Burger King probably closed down because Nandos are stealing all their clients with their Hot Chicken products. Music and Video Exchange will be next.
AND increasing meat costs i dont understand why they havent gone under.
just appreciate the joke :P
especially on saturday nights. but let's be honest, burger king can't have had an amazing record for cleanliness, so i think that's nearer the mark.
and I ordered Extra Hot, because I am hardcore, then after our food had arrived and the waitress came round to ask us if everything was alright, I said "It's a bit spicy!".
i did the same after ordering a medium.
as good as last time you told it
it made me laugh for a good 10 mins
