Whyyyy? Not all of us celebrate Easter. I have things to do.
you should be gorgeing yourself on eggs until you feel too sick to move
This is my first year without them though, actually.
I don't understand...
I'd have them if I were still a minor though. We got them from our parents every year. Come to think of it, my sister is no doubt enjoying some right now. I lose so much today.
just the family and egg aspect :) You still home alone?
My dad will be home in about six hours. :( Plus he's been away from the computer for half a week, so he'll no doubt have loads of work to do on his *cough*novel*cough* and I won't have AIM access at any reasonable hour again for awhile. On the plus side, I think I'll manage to keep all the expenses cash he gave me before he left.
i haven't had dinner and i fancy some reduced pastries.
this thread has reminded me of easter sunday two years ago, when in a fit of boredom i decided to see how long it would take to walk from my flat into the west end. i got there and NOTHING was open. NOTHING. so i just turned around and walked home :(
Am I right?
but with more confused tourists.
at least. The only food I was going to buy today though was bread, which I wanted to go to a little local bakery for. I'm so hungry, but all I crave is a sandwich.
but it was closed :(
the local was open! i got 4 x pain au chocolat for a quid and a yoghurt. healthy diet ahoy.
moved to a big city. :(
Does anyone actually celebrate easter?
I got a text from a friend saying happy easter and thought, why the fuck are you wishing me a happy easter? I don't give a fuck about easter and I don't give a fuck what it's for!
Chocolate eggs though, rock on!!
In the slowest, most backward county of Britain, I had to work today. And you're telling me nothing in Chicago is open?
But I have little place errands. Where do you work that it's open today in said backcountry?
No-one came in. I was basically paid to complete sudokus. But on the other hand it meant I missed out on the only day of the year it snowed, so :(.
where is this backcountry? I thought Britain had crappy weather? Like worse than Chicago, and Chicago's had more snows than I can keep count of already this year. You're getting jipped.
But no, we've had a mild winter followed by freakishly warm weather in January and February. First time it snowed in ages was today.
In britain anymore really except maybe Scotland. If it does we get about half an inch that lasts for a day and all the road networks get paralysed and the trains stop.
Our weather can be described as thus;
apart from a Tesco petrol station.
pleased to report it's still open and i have 8 cans of Red Stripe for my toils.
I went round the corner n baught stuff, and thats NOT in town. America is far too religious for its own good! Money is to be made!
